This explains what LeatherWear collects and why. It is a template for a demonstration store — have it reviewed against the law in your jurisdiction before trading.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a hashed password. We never store passwords in a readable form.
- Order details: delivery address, telephone number and what you bought. The telephone number is passed to the courier so they can call before delivering.
- Messages: anything you send us through the contact form.
What we do not collect
No card or bank details, because cash on delivery is our only payment method. We do not buy data about you from third parties, and we do not sell yours.
Cookies
We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Your shopping bag and recently-viewed list are kept in your browser’s own storage and never reach our servers.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Everything else is deleted when you close your account.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to atelier@leatherwear.com and we will respond within thirty days.
Newsletter
We email you only if you subscribed. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and we do not share the list.
